What are the ticket prices*?

Trust Us (limited): 425,- €

Early Bird: 525,- €

Standard: 650,- €

Last Minute: 725,- €

Early Bird - Group of 5+: 425,- €

Standard - Group of 5+ : 550,- €

Reduced: 150,- €

* all prices include VAT and handling costs

Who is eligible for Student tickets?

Pupils, students, people on social welfare, retirees and people with disabilities are eligible for these tickets. Please note that you have to present corresponding documentation of eligibility on location (student ID or other form of documentation that is valid in June 2016). 

 

I purchased a student ticket but will be finishing my studies before Berlin Buzzwords takes place in June. Can I still use the ticket?

Yes, if your student ID is still valid or has just expired. For example, a student ID from winter semester 2016/17 will be accepted at registration, but one from summer 2016 or earlier will be rejected. 

 

I’ll be taking part in the Call for Submissions. Do I have to buy a ticket if my submission is accepted?

No, as a speaker you will take part for free.

 

I want to take part in the Call for Submissions. What happens if my abstract is rejected and I cannot buy an Early Bird Ticket anymore?

There are usually more submissions than slots available so based on the program committee's ratings, we always have to reject some sessions. If your submission won't be accepted, we will grant you a 20% discount code for your ticket.

 

I want to take part in the Call for Submissions but will also buy a Trust us- or Earlybird-Ticket, just in case. Will I get the ticket costs reimbursed if my submission is accepted?

You can resell your ticket and there are usually plenty of thankful takers to be found. You can also carry out a cancellation (But: the cancellation fees have to be paid by the attendees themselves).

 

I want to purchase a Trust us- or an Earlybird-Ticket but I’m not sure if I’ll actually be able to make it to Berlin Buzzwords. Can I return the ticket?

You can resell your ticket and there are usually plenty of thankful takers to be found. You can also carry out a cancellation (But: the cancellation fees have to be paid by the attendees themselves).

 

How many people are needed to obtain a group ticket?

The discount is valid for groups of 5 and more attendees.

 

What is included in a Berlin Buzzwords Ticket?

All tickets are valid for the full three days and include free WiFi, food, snacks and drinks throughout the two conference days on Monday and Tuesday. You can also join the barcamp on Sunday and meetups & hackathons taking place all over Berlin hosted by Berlin Buzzwords and local companies. 

 

How do I transfer my ticket to another person?

If you want to change the name of the ticket owner and make sure he or she gets a printed name badge with their own name, please send an email to event@newthinking.de. It must include the ticket number and the name and email address of the new owner.

Changing ticket owner names is only possible until May 27, 2017. Afterwards, we won’t be able to change the original name on the ticket. However, you can still sell or give your ticket to someone else. Please also note that it is up to you and the new recipient to work out your own payment method.
A ticket is only valid for one person and cannot be shared. You'll get a wristband in exchange of your ticket which you need to keep on your wrist for the entire duration of the event.

Do you send my tickets home via post?

No, you can download your ticket as a .pdf at the end of the check out process. You also receive a confirmation email with the ticket attached to it. Please print it our or save on your mobile phone to present at the registration desk.
