Berlin is known for a well established public transport infrastructure. You can travel to Berlin either by airplane or by train as well as by coach. The two international airports as well as the major train and coach stations provide good service to central locations in and around Berlin.
TRAVELING BY PLANE
Berlin's two airports Tegel (TXL) and Schönefeld (SXF) are connected to many major cities in Europe and to world-wide destinations via Germany's air traffic hubs Frankfurt and Munich.

TRAVELING BY TRAIN
If you're travelling by train from Germany or neighboring European countries, Deutsche Bahn is the often the fastest option. All trains are powered by 100% green energy. You can get tickets for specified dates as well as flexible ones. More information on Deutsche Bahn timetables and fares here:
TRAVELING BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT
National and international coaches arrive every day at the two major bus stations in Berlin: the central bus station at Funkturm, called ZOB Berlin, and the bus station at Berlin Ostbahnhof.
Arrival at Central Bus Station ZOB
The majority of national and international bus services to and from Berlin are handled at the Central Bus Station ZOB, the larger of the two international bus stations in Berlin. The ZOB is located in the district of Charlottenburg, opposite the International Congress Center ICC and the exhibition grounds under the Funkturm.
Arrival at Ostbahnhof Bus Station
The second major bus station is located at Ostbahnhof in the district of Friedrichshain, east of Alexanderplatz. From Ostbahnhof, Berlin's central station (Hauptbahnhof) can be reached within ten minutes by S-Bahn.
Traveling in Berlin
Berlin has an excellent public transport network. You can get almost anywhere by using the U-Bahn (subway), S-Bahn (suburban railway), bus or tram. The innercity zone is classified as Berlin A/B.
All tickets can be purchased at ticket machines located on platforms and stops. Make sure to validate your ticket before boarding an U- or S-Bahn (little yellow/red validating machines located alongside ticket machines). Tram and bus tickets can be validated inside the vehicle.
