During this Workshop you will learn how to design a scalable IoT application from sensor to data center, including:
Data capture with various sensors
Data transport using various protocol and API, for example Apache Kafka API with MapR Streams
Stream processing using Apache Spark and/or Apache Flink
Data Persistence using Streams, NoSQL Database, and File System
Analytics with Apache Drill

Come with your laptop and start coding your first scalable IoT Application; you will have access to sensors "the things", a MapR Cluster to capture, store, process and analyse the data; and sample code to play with the data.
